AUTISM & I/DD EDUCATION

Understanding Autism and Other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)

Building Awareness, Understanding, Support, and Inclusion in Liberia

Straight From The Heart International Inc. (SFTH) is committed to educating families, caregivers, teachers, healthcare professionals, and communities about Autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and Fragile X syndrome.

Through our educational awareness initiatives, we aim to reduce stigma, correct misconceptions, promote early identification, and encourage access to appropriate healthcare, education, and family-support services.

A disability is not a curse, a punishment, or a reason for shame. Every child deserves love, dignity, understanding, and the opportunity to learn and thrive.

As part of our ongoing work in Liberia, SFTH is advancing the Liberia Autism Awareness and Early Screening Pilot Initiative, beginning with six communities in Monrovia.

Different Abilities.
Equal Dignity.
Every Child Matters.

Together, we are building a more inclusive Liberia, one family and one community at a time.
