We envision a world where all people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities living in Liberia, Sierra Leone, will be able to access the support and services needed to ensure that they will be able to enjoy a high quality of life and be active and valued members of their communities.

To develop, implement, and support vital activities that raise awareness and result in improved access to education and other supports for children with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities living in Liberia.

About Us
Straight From The Heart International INC is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Our organization was founded in 2004 and expanded its mission in 2014 to address the needs of people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities living in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.

In 2018, we established Arthur & Zwannah First Autism Classroom in Monrovia, Liberia, providing a safe space for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Story
Despite facing challenges and skepticism, our founder remained committed to creating a supportive environment for people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Through perseverance and dedication, Straight From The Heart International INC has made significant progress in raising awareness and providing services for people with autism and
intellectual/developmental disabilities in Liberia.

Our Mission

To enable and promote easy access to services for people with autism spectrum disorder/intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families through awareness creation,
advocacy, resource mobilization, and creation of ABA intervention programs.

Our Goal

To empower people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities to reach their full potential and contribute economically to society. We envision a world where children with autism are valued, respected, and supported by members of their communities.
